Liquid water-repellent additive for mortars and concretes

Hidromas is a water-repellent additive for mortars and concretes, designed to be added during the kneading stage and to provide the material, once set, with water-repellent properties.
In this way, after being added to the mass, hidromas migrates to the capillary pores and remains anchored there during the hardening of the material.

Hidromas repels moisture without modifying porosity, interrupting its circulation through the material, allowing it to breathe, reducing the appearance of efflorescence and minimizing the risk of premature deterioration caused by humidity or direct contact with water.

It has a high concentration of active ingredients, so the addition of a minimum amount of Hidromas provides noticeable effects on the additive material, without affecting the rest of the properties of the concrete such as: Compressive strength, setting speed or plasticity and is fully compatible with other admixtures commonly used as accelerators, retardants or rheological modifiers.
