Silicone-free colorless lubricant, slider, release agent and brightener.
Lubrisil SS is a lubricating fluid, slide, release agent and low-viscosity polish free of mineral oil or grease, formulated from white petroleum jelly oil and solvent-based additives, designed to be used in light lubrication of precision parts, protection and demoulding.
Due to its composition, Lubrisil SS can be used on parts located both indoors and outdoors, providing lubrication, improving their sliding and increasing their protection against external agents. Lubrisil SS also offers durable wear protection on surfaces that come into contact with different materials, such as plastic and metal, wood and plastic, etc.
It has a low viscosity, which, together with its penetrating capacity, allows lubricating difficult parts or precision equipment, for example: in sewing machines or in spindles that operate with low tolerances, among others. In addition, Lubrisil SS provides a good degree of shine both on non-absorbent hard surfaces, as well as on poorly absorbent plastics and soft rubbers.
Based on these characteristics, Lubrisil SS can be used as a multi-purpose lubricant, protectant and polish, especially in work areas where lubricants with oil or grease are not desired, as well as where these would hinder further processing of the treated part or surface.
Since Lubrisil SS does not contain silicones, it can be used in the vicinity of paint booths.
Lubrisil SS it is especially effective to be used as a multipurpose product in light lubrication tasks of both precision and plastic mechanisms. Also, given its hydrophobic nature, it provides protection against water and dust. In addition, it can be used in demoulding processes, given its sliding and non-stick nature.
