Applications

It is used as a binder in in-situ sports surfaces and safety surfaces based on recycled rubber from tyres or EPDM.

How to use

Resin for playgrounds can be used both as an elastomer binder and as a primer prior to the placement of the shock-absorbing surface:

• • Use as a primer: Dilute resin for playgrounds using Disol (max. 10%). Then apply to the surface with the help of a roller or brush. Then let dry for 1-1.5 hours before applying the shock-absorbing surface.
  • Use as a binder for elastomers and rubber: Add playground resin on top of the granulate to be used, in proportions between 12:88 – 20:80 (resin:rubber, respectively). Next, knead the mixture of resin and elastomer until you get a homogeneous paste. Next, place the mixture on the surface, pressing it hard with the help of a trowel or a plate compactor. Finally, allow to dry for a minimum of 72 hours before commissioning the installation.
