Self-adhesive metal-backed tape for soundproofing manhole covers

Soundproofing treatment of sewer covers.It is a self-adhesive waterproofing tape with metal self-protection composed of a bituminous chew modified with SBS protected on its upper face by a smooth aluminium sheet of leaden gray color and finished on its lower face with a non-stick plastic.

Applications

It is used for all types of seals, immediately cutting noise and moisture. It is especially indicated for the soundproofing of sewer covers and scuppers.

How to use

1. The substrates must be clean and dry to achieve good adhesion.
2. Cut the piece of tape necessary to cover the surface to be treated, remove the non-stick layer from the underside and apply by pressing strongly on the surface. If the substrate is not homogeneous or is in poor condition, it is recommended to apply a coat of primer first.
