It prevents the formation of deposits in the circuit and prevents the production of gases dissolved in the water produced by the corrosion of metals.

PROTEC AQUO is a combination of:

  • Calcareous dispersants.
  • Calcareous descalers.
  • Corrosion inhibitors in ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
  • Oxygen Eliminators.

Its function is twofold:

  • Prevent the formation of deposits in the circuit, and avoid the production of gases dissolved in the water produced by the corrosion of metals.
  • It passivates metal surfaces by forming magnetite and cuprous oxide films.

PROTEC AQUO it is essential in circuits where the radiators are made of aluminium or its alloys, or where there is copper in some sections, since in this case the corrosion is much greater.

  • Prevents the formation of sediment and scale.
  • It forms a protective film on all metal surfaces in contact with the treated water.
  • Prevents the formation of gas pockets due to corrosion.
  • Increases heat transfer through the metal.

Applications

  • In closed cooling circuits.
  • Closed heating circuits.
  • Underfloor heating.
  • Mixed installations (ferrous metals/PVC).

In general, in any closed water loop.

How to use

  • If the heating circuit is newly installed, it is enough to add 1 litre of our product for every 100 litres of water; then bleed the circuit so that there are no air pockets.
  • If the heating system is old, it may have incrustations or corrosion, in this case it is advisable to clean the circuit in order to remove the sediments or incrustations it has.

The protection is approximately 2 years in individual heating circuits.
