Sustainability is not just a goal reflected in our environmental management system, it is part of our identity.That is why we want to share with all of you a new milestone in our commitment to the environment, which allows us to continue efficiently fighting climate change: the incorporation of a state-of-the-art effluent evapo-concentration system.This new system, based on evaporation and concentration technology, allows us to internally treat the wastewater generated during our manufacturing and internal cleaning processes, reducing the amount of liquid waste we produced previously.    

The result: less waste, more efficiency, greater sustainability, and a lower environmental impact.

What benefits does this new addition bring us?

• Reduction of the volume of liquid waste produced, which makes its management easier and minimizes the environmental footprint resulting from our activity.
• Water recovery for its reuse in our production processes, reducing our net consumption of drinking water and, thereby, decreasing the depletion of the water resources available to us.
• Lower environmental impact, aligned with our long-term sustainability goals and with the environmental policies included in our environmental management system, based on the international standard ISO 14001 :2015.
• Greater operational efficiency, thanks to a cleaner, closed, and automated treatment of waste.

One step further, but not the last. This progress is part of a broader strategy that we at Neoquim have been building for years: making our industrial activity a reference in responsible and circular production, maintaining our quality standards and allowing us to optimize our resources to further improve our customer focus.Commitment that is visible: The installation and start-up of this new evapoconcentration equipment is already giving concrete results:

For every liter of waste treated, we recover 90% of water that we can reintroduce into our processes and save.
