- We recommend checking whether it needs any repairs to avoid unpleasant surprises. For this task we suggest using epoxy since it adheres very well in water and you won’t need to drain it to identify any potential leaks.
- Once you’ve done this check, it’s time to clean the pool. With an acid cleaner like LIMFA/LIMFA GEL you can do it easily.
- Check that the filter pump works perfectly and whether the timers need any adjustment.
- The area around the pool is usually the best place for children and adults to play, so we recommend applying an anti-slip treatment suitable for the pavement around your pool to prevent dangerous falls and slips.
- Remember that it’s important to regularly check and monitor water quality and its pH level, this will prevent algae formation and eye irritation.
- We recommend keeping a first aid kit near the bathing area containing remedies for insect bites, antiseptic solutions, gauze, cotton or a thermometer among other items.
- With the arrival of warm weather our pools fill up with annoying insects. Proper maintenance will prevent their presence, which is why we recommend using a surface cleaner with a repellent effect like LS REPEL since it repels flying and crawling insects: flies, mosquitoes, wasps, fleas, lice, ants, cockroaches…
- To save water and maintain water temperature, using a cover is advised as it prevents evaporation and dirt. When summer ends we can leave it full and avoid it getting dirty from being exposed to the elements.
